Second day on our short weekend away. Light packing meant wearing the same leather pants as yesterday (not that I'm complaining, they are my new fave!) and chucking on a different jumper and shoes. With not packing my regular hair products or dryer and miserable, drizzly weather, it called for also nicking my other half's beanie hat for the day.
Happy belated Valentine's Day, everyone. I hope you all had a lovely day, whether it be with a loved one, with your friends or enjoying your own company.
My other half and I were both working on Valentine's Day itself so we decided to take a trip to a local City for a weekend away from home. With an absolute bargain, upgraded hotel apartment, we were very lucky.
I got chance to wear a whole bunch of new bits in my wardrobe, which is always nice.
So today's outfit post comes in the form of a good old changing room mirror selfie. I didn't get chance to take a proper photo of my outfit before I left my house so just a quick snap in H&M fitting rooms has had to suffice.
So, I'm getting into a pretty good routine of blogging my outfit every Sunday. Sunday is my day off from work and I have chance to potter about and decide properly on an outfit rather than throwing on something practical and suitable for work.
I'm really feeling the sports luxe trend at the minute and I can't stop wearing comfy trainers and baggy pants. These leather joggers are my absolute favourite piece in my entire wardrobe now and I'm so glad I got them as part one of my 5 Piece French Wardrobe challenge.
Excuse my miserable expression, I really need to work on getting rid of my 'Resting Bitch Face'
Hi guys, so I was contacted a while ago by a lady from bornprettystore.com asking if I wanted to try out some products from their website. I obviously agreed because let's be honest, who wouldn't want to try a cheeky freebie?
I picked this Marc Jacobs knock-off dog iphone case. I chose this because I have the original Marc Jacobs case and I wanted to do a comparison of the two together.
The first case is the Marc Jacobs case and the second is the Born Pretty Store version.
They are pretty much identical except for one edge, where obviously the Born Pretty Store version doesn't have the Marc Jacobs logo.
At a bargain price of under $5 for the Born Pretty Store version compared to the RRP of £45 for the Marc Jacobs one (I got mine for £20 in an Xmas sale ;)) I whole heartedly recommend going for the cheaper option! There really is no difference between the two other than the BPS version having a bit of a funky smell for the first few days after opening the packet.
I also picked up a 'Chanel' nail polish iphone case because I thought it was cool. I've been wearing this case on my phone for about a month and it's lasted perfectly. Again, this product costs less than $5.
Unfortunately, since I've gotten round to doing this review, these items seem to have vanished from the BPS website. However, if you want to have a mooch around and get 10% off your order, you can visit the website www.bornprettystore.com and use the discount code NCJ61
Today I put on my standard every day outfit - black on black on black. Looking outside when I opened my curtains made me instantly miserable because, well, just look. Dreary, rainy and cold. So I decided to try and inject a bit of brightness into the day by digging out my orange coat.
I topped the outfit off with a bobble beanie hat which actually matches the jacket very well, surprisingly!
